However, we also understand that your budget can evolve as the interior designing progresses. Instead of forcing a budget on you, we help you arrive at a realistic budget for the project to work. This involves looking at factors such as what style you want, level of finish, and the time within which you want it to be done. We have a detailed process by which we help you arrive at your budget

1.      Finding Your Aesthetic

 The very first step to planning a design budget is coming up with an idea for your home. You may want to think of images you like, concepts you love or elements such as inbuilt shelves or floating shelves that inspire you. We then take a look at elements such as whether you want inbuilt shelves or floating shelves, layered draperies, regular curtains or shades, if you like the minimalistic style or maximalism. These questions are very important in deciding your final budget.

2.       Space Plan

We provide you with a well-developed space plan so that you can visualize the elements you will need in a particular space. We look at details such as rugs that need to be used, whether there will be lamps on the surfaces, plants and pots, tables and chairs, etc.

3.      Quality and Durability

We ask you about the level of quality and durability that you want in your home in order to help you plan accordingly. For example, if you have kids, do you want materials and fabric that can be easily cleaned and can resist wear and tear? If you have furniture that will be exposed to a lot of wear and tear, do you want it to be resistant to that?

4.      List Products and Needs

To get the most out of your renovation, we'll need a detailed list of all the content you'd like to include. Online research can help answer any questions about items you want. You could also include smart home appliances such as lighting which can be controlled from your mobile phone. These items greatly influence your budget.

5.      The Final Budget

Our spreadsheet template provides the price of each item in each column or category. You can also consider other miscellaneous costs such as tax, shopping costs, installation charges, accessories and built-in furnishings.
